VISION STATEMENT

Our Vision is to live and lead in a world where people in the urban core are united to minister to one another’s needs, decayed neighborhoods are restored, the homeless are re-homed and released offenders are re-integrated into normal society. A world where the grace of God is lived out in a way that people have the power to live whole again.

MISSION STATEMENT

1.    Our Mission is to bring people together to change the culture in the metro urban core communities through service, outreach, teaching and modeling.

2.    Our Mission is to feed and clothe the homeless (street people), demonstrating the love of the Heavenly Father while building trust and relationships that lead to mentoring opportunities.

3.    Our Mission is to mentor people out of addiction and into an understanding of their divine design and purpose.

4.    Our Mission is to fill the gap when people fall through the system with knowledgeable and caring case managers (i.e., ID, food stamps, housing, insurance and employment).

5.    Our Mission is to collect donations to furnish houses of the re-homed and re-integrated and make them homes to foster their future success.

6.    Our Mission is to coordinate between those we mentor and existing transitional housing as we develop our own Grace Transformation Houses.

7.    Our Mission is to identify and train a Pastor and purchase a home for that Pastor to have a 24/7 presence in our targeted neighborhood to redeem it from decay.

8.    Our Mission is to birth a church designed for street people in our target neighborhood to bring healing to the specific types of crisis, trauma and religious ailments of that demographic and build community.

9.    Our Mission is to take a leadership role in uniting ministries and agencies and to train both ministries and volunteers (especially former street people) to advance our Vision and Mission.

CORE VALUES

1.    Every individual regardless of history or appearance has value and will be given honor simply as a child of the heavenly Father.

2.    We will look for and create (if necessary) opportunities and ways to affirm people and bring healing from crisis, trauma and misfortune.

3.    We will not judge people by their past but will remind them of their divine design and purpose and observe their change and growth after interacting with us.

4.    Relationships, especially the face-to-face kind, must always carry a greater weight than the “doing” of administration and activities.

5.    We will use the mentoring/discipleship model to produce leaders who have a heart to heal and to build.

6.    Individual success stories are only the beginning of building real community.

7.    Success is defined by creation of a ministry culture where it is natural to reach back, assist and work with those who are where they themselves used to be.

8.    We value diversity and will strive to minister grace to every demographic.

OUR CHALLENGE

1.    Our Challenge is to break down the pre-conceived judgements from all areas of society in order to bring people together to heal and redeem the urban core.

2.    Our Challenge is to grow and develop from humble beginnings to become the perceived experts in what we do and become the pattern and process that other metro areas see as the model that they want to work toward in their urban core.

3.    Our Challenge is to not grow in such a way that we forget or stop getting our hands dirty helping real people recover from life happening to them.
